What surprised me was the major improvement in the live sound after doing an auto equilization (Mode C) with the RTM mic aimed at ONE speaker. The guitar notes and vocals are much crisper and clear. It auto eqs (although it usually requires a bit of tweaking afterward), does x-over, suppresses feedback and provides delay. I use this in a church to process the FOH sound.

I have not tried it on monitors (I don?t really need anything on them.) The most impressive feature is most certainly the feedback suppression. Most of the time I do not even realize that it suppressed feedback. It hears it before I do. I don?t use the fixed mode at all since the setup is different every week and there is a lapel microphone involved. I just set the Live filter lift to 30 min and let it work its magic.
